Yunfei Ma is a doctoral student in department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Washington. He received his bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 1999, and the master degree in Engineering Mechanics from HUST in 2001. He was a graduate research assistant at University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) and a research assistant at City University of Hong Kong. At present, his research interests are in the area of ferromagnetic/antiferromagnetic composite materials and ferromagnetic shape memory alloys (FSMA).
