Visiting Scholar
Dr. Zhang joined University of Washington as a visiting scholar in 2006. He is a research
assistant professor at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Previously, He was a postdoctoral
fellow in The University of Akron (2004-2005) and University of Houston (2002-2004). From
2001 to 2002, he was an Alexander von Humboldt fellow in University of Duisburg, Germany.
In 1999, he got his PhD degree from Shandong University, P.R.China. Dr. Zhang’s research
is focused on the structure-property relations in dielectric and ferroelectric materials.
His past research emphasizes ferroelectric phase transition, size effects of ferroelectrics,
quantum ferroelectrics, transport properties of dielectrics. In the present, he is doing
research in the field of dielectric polymers and multiferroic composites.
